This Kraken Is Made Entirely Out of Money

The above collage of a kraken is made entirely out of cut up American currency, reconfigured into illustrations by artist Chad Person as part of his “TaxCut” series. (The money used is itself deducted as a tax expense.)

The series is part of a larger artistic direction/lifestyle choice that Person is focused on, as previous to this he spent years constructing a sculptural apocalypse-ready survival shelter to survive the “collapse of civilization” dubbed the Resource Exhaustion Crisis Evacuation Safety Shelter.
